We are looking to recruit passionate Support Workers to join our dedicated team based in the Old Brampton area of Chesterfield. Our service is a supported living home for four adults all with various needs. As a support worker, you will be providing practical support within the home and out in the community. Your days will vary from helping maintain their home through household tasks, budgeting and managing finances, supporting with food preparation in line with SALT guidelines, intimate personal care, monitoring healthcare needs, supporting with medication and health appointments, being the persons advocate and supporting to pursue their hobbies, interests and maintain contact with their friends.
The role of a Support Worker can be challenging at times, so it is essential to have a positive mind-set with a desire to improve the lives of those with a physical and learning disability. As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
Rota and shift patterns
Our shifts are on a four-week rolling rota which includes early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays. Our shift patterns are 7am to 10am, 10am to 3pm, 3pm to 9pm, 3pm to 10pm and sleep ins. Flexibility is required due to the nature of the service and the support needs.
Due to the location of the service, there is very limited public transport, nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk away so please bear this in mind when applying for the position.

44 per hour. You will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45 for any sleep-in shifts carried out. All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.

24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) + a variety of benefits including pension.
