As an experienced Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects allocated to you which include planning, monitoring budgeting with commercial team and managing the Construction logistics package. You will be involved in working with contractors and subcontractors, ensuring the project runs to schedule. The role will also involve controlling delivery of materials, movement of site traffic and managing a range of trade operatives. You will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that the contract is delivered on time and keeping the Operations team informed of the progression in accordance with the reporting procedures agreed. Key components of the role will be to deal with white board meetings, DABS Meetings, Client meetings. The ability to demonstrate previous experience is essential. Suitable candidates must hold SMSTS and First Aid and have similar proven construction logistics experience on high profile and large value construction projects.You will also need to have experience in managing multi-disciplined operatives on a busy site.
