Service Charge Apprentice £22,000 per annum Milton Keynes Full Time 15-month Fixed Term Contract Ready to kickstart your career in Finance? At the end of your Apprenticeship, you'll have the opportunity to transition into a Service Charge Assistant role or explore other opportunities with the new skill set and experience you’ve gained Qualification – AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting Duration – 15 months Provider - Kaplan Location – Milton Keynes - blend of office and remote working Learning time - 6hrs per week off the job learning (1 day a week) with the training provider. The remainder of your week will be spent in the role either at our stylish Milton Keynes office (2 days minimum) or working from home once you’ve settled into the role. What you’ll be doing * Assist customers with inquiries regarding service charges. * Review and validate invoices to ensure accuracy. * Verify bills for utilities and services, ensuring correct costs allocation. * Maintain meticulous records of service charges in adherence to lease agreements. * Support audits and troubleshoot any issues that arise. * Learn from experienced Service Charge Officers. * Aid in gathering information to ensure accurate and fair service charge statements. * Assist in the Section 20 process, meticulously recording deductions and tracking debts. * Adhere to company policies and procedures. * Collaborate with the development team on new projects, ensuring accurate charge entry. * Take ownership of your training plan and communicate effectively to meet deadlines.
