Were looking for anAssistant Store Managerto join our team inLuton. Reporting directly to theStore Manager, youll be a key part of theretail management team, ensuring smooth daily operations. AsDuty Manager, youll take full responsibility for the store in the absence of theDeputy or Store Manager. Youll lead from the front, managing everything fromrecruitment,stock control, andstore standardsto driving sales and ensuring exceptionalcustomer service.
Overseeing store operations when theStore ManagerorDeputy Manageris unavailable.
Maximising salesand driving performance to achieve key KPIs.
Maintaining high standards across the store, ensuring its a great place to shop and work.
Collaborating with the management team to create a seamlessretail experience.
Well provide you withindustry-leading training, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to deliver top-tier service and care for our customers and their pets.
Youll have at least6 monthsofhands-on supervisory/management experiencein aretail environment.
Flexible to work a7-day shift pattern, including weekends.
Ready to take on6 months of training, covering everything fromcustomer serviceandhealth & safetyto caring for pets.
About our Pet Care Centre
The Pet Care Centre in Luton is vibrant and welcoming, with a team of 17 colleagues , including two managers , who share a passion for helping customers care for their pets. The store features a popular large fish department , known for its high sales, and is located in a bustling retail park with excellent transport links, including a bus station on-site and a nearby train line.
With its unique combination of accessibility, local amenities, and a supportive team environment, the Luton store is an inspiring place to work, grow, and connect with pet lovers in the community.
