Senior Administrator – Operations, Central Operations Team
Role Title – Vice President (Level 3)
Location - Jersey
We are seeking a Senior Manager to manage the Operations Team responsible for the provision of administrative and project support to the various business d ivision s , reporting to the Central Operations Director in Jersey.
The role will involve working closely with the lead relationship managers and directors in the business divisions to provide excellent and efficient ongoing support to the client administration teams.
- Work with the teams within the division and Risk, Compliance, Tax and CoSec functions to ensure the p reparatio n and completion of all annual regulatory filings (including the annual IMF Co-Ordinated Portfolio Investment Survey and National Risk Assessment) and statutory obligations (including annual confirmation statements and tax returns) and ad hoc deliverables within the deadlines.
- Provide ongoing support on GDPR , assist in the preparation of annual GDPR reviews and co-ordinate the registration of Jersey data controllers with the JOIC.
- Provide assistance as needed to the Jersey Tax Lead and FATCA/CRS reporting team by liaising with client teams to resolve queries/ensure timely notification of new funds/entities and investor onboardings
- Oversee LEI registrations and renewals within the teams.
- Assist with testing of new processes and systems on behalf of the division and wider business.
- Providing ongoing support and assistance to the client administration and CoSec teams as required on bulk Registry / systems update projects.
- Assist with the timely completion of one-off and re-occurring projects.
- Act as point of contact for operational matters.
- Assist with the development and training of junior staff members who provide ongoing support to the wider division.
Experience and Skills Required
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Previous experience in the finance industry
- An understanding of Jersey statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. anti-money laundering laws and regulations, tax compliance)
- Jersey tax compliance and/or FATCA/CRS experience an advantage but not essential
- Motivated and driven and a team player.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the finance industry.
