My client, a analytical software company specialising within the Investment and Hedge Fund space is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join the team. This role will be hybrid and you will be required to attend my client's London office 2 days per week. There is a good salary on offer and 15% commission on every deal closed. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be required to contact the world’s biggest decision makers such as Asset Managers in Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Asset Advisors, multi funds managers, Fund of Hedge Funds daily, in USA and Canada. The candidate should be able to engage in conversations with Analysts, Portfolio Managers, COO and CIO, understand their funds’ investment process, understand finance and explain how our analytical software can help them generate higher returns. Other responsibilities include:

  • Achieve your annual sales target agreed with the CEO
  • Entrepreneurial and team minded and capable with the full sales process: create meetings by him/herself or with the cold caller, manage web meetings with the product specialist, install the software trial, follow up with the Client support team, explain on premise vs cloud installation, explain investment funds’ due diligence vs operational funds’ due diligence, explain the differences between hedge funds / mutual funds / private funds, answer objections, contract negotiation and finally hand over to the Client support team
  • The software web demonstration is done with our Software product specialist in London
  • Working collaboratively with the Head of EMEA sales to enhance our existing EMEA sales strategy
Skills
  • Must have vast experience in selling a financial software or financial databases to large pension funds and assets managers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with numerical element, ideally finance, economics, accounting or mathematics
  • You are successful in your current sales role with 4Y+ experience in new sales (not BD)
  • Experience within financial services sector is mandatory
  • Professional, entrepreneur with the sales virus
