Job Description
This role involves the management and delivery of our Patient Transport and Event Medical Services, within Medicore Ambulance UK. The individual will act as the primary point-of-contact for between PTS & Event Crews and company management. They will liaise with management and clinical leaders to ensure the quality of and assist with the delivery of a quality pre-hospital event medical service and patient transport service. They will manage, allocate, and assign resources necessary to ensure continued service delivery. They will work closely with and support the management team to ensure adherence and compliance with national legislation, CQC requirements, and industry best practice across the business. They will work closely with management in identifying opportunities for improvement across all business activities.
Duties:
- Act as primary point-of-contact for management, utilisation, and readiness of company resources in support of company activities.
- Support the clerical function of the business with respect to service delivery of event medical and patient transport services.
- Support the compliance function in relation to audit, inspections, and service delivery.
- Report and feedback to the wider clinical team and management.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
Requirements (Essential):
- Experience and knowledge of the Pre-Hospital environment in UK with a focus on event medical services and ambulance services.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise according to varying and competing deadlines.
- Experienced and knowledgeable with the range of clinical resources (equipment, medications, vehicles) operated by and clinical services offered by the company.
- Full clean, unendorsed driving licence with the ability to maintain the licence throughout the course of employment.
- Excellent physical and well-being to allow the role to be undertaken fully.
- Excellent telephone manor and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience & proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Willingness to undertake training and further development.
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Experience in a similar role.
