As a Senior Paediatric Intensive Care Nurse (PICU), you will: Take charge of the unit in the absence of the Sister/Charge Nurse. Develop, implement, and evaluate holistic care plans for children. Mentor and act as a role model for junior and student nurses. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Foster strong relationships with children and their families. Ensure excellent clinical governance and participate in audits. Post Graduate experience in a PICU setting. Understanding of Safeguarding issues. Teaching and mentoring experience (desirable). Completion of a PICU Course equivalent to 60 credits. Excellent clinical governance and audit experience.
