About our Teams:

Our People & Culture team is here to support our colleagues through their full employee lifecycle. Our team includes People & Culture Partners, People Operations Managers, our COO and our Events Team. We believe that trust, appreciation, sustainability, and constant development will make us – together – achieve great things.

This role will partner with our North East regional employees, including the market teams and leadership of Germany, Poland and the UK. By providing hands-on operational support, dedicated employee coaching, and designing Human Resources initiatives that meet the teams’ current and future needs, this role will be a key contributor to our collective regional and company success.

This position is 100% Remote and can be based anywhere in the UK.

Field of Activity
  • Own the entire recruitment cycle for a variety of positions across the company including tech roles.
  • Manage the full operational onboarding (100% remote) for the new joiners in your team.
  • Take the lead and responsibility for tasks, priorities, consultations, and projects in your region which you implement with your own ideas & roadmap.
  • Provide a comprehensive end to end employee lifecycle support in your region, supporting team members in their development journey.
  • Collaborate with your People & Culture colleagues in a variety of global projects and initiatives. Some examples of initiatives our team has implemented in the past are: a 4 day work week, culture manifesto, mental health in the workplace, and much more These initiatives are designed to test the boundaries of current workplace paradigms– help us create the future of work at SU
  • Collaborate with Region North East employees, leadership and Global departments to ensure regional business needs are met.
  • Create close and effective relationships with your stakeholders and teams, acting as a trusted people advisor, coaching & supporting them with their people needs.
  • Provide support for conflict resolution, mediation and employee relations topics with empathy, discretion and efficiency.
  • Provide in-depth support to employees’ depending on country and contractual needs.
  • Support on Event planning and execution to bring the team together for meaningful moments including conferences, industry events and more.

  • You have over at least 2 years of experience working in a People & Culture or Human Resources team. Prior knowledge or experience in UK employment practices is beneficial.
  • You are able to travel 2-4 times/year, depending on the needs of your team.
