A great opportunity for a Transport Planning Manager to lead, manage and develop the planning and fleet team at our Premier Park depot. If you have a strong background in distribution and are an experienced people leader, then we want to hear from you 

We'll look for you to effectively lead your team to efficiently plan all deliveries to Premier Park depot customers - ensuring all routes are optimised so that operational targets are achieved. Your amazing planning and organisational skills will be critical to your success. With no two days the same, you will need to be able to adapt accordingly and deal with unexpected issues as they arise, ensuring that all stakeholders are communicated with in an effective and timely manner.

As you would expect within logistics, this is a deadline driven role where you will need to balance the needs of drivers, customers, and account managers – staying calm and focused to get the job done. Working closely with depot operational colleagues, you will also review and refine delivery schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and analyse data from a variety of systems and sources to identify areas for future improvements.

To join us in this role you will have a background in planning and be confident and comfortable using systems, particularly MS Office software such as excel. Experience using planning software such as Roadnet, Paragon and SAP would be advantageous but is not essential. You will also be able to demonstrate adaptability in using new processes and/software and applications.

You will have previous experience in leading a team and driving high levels of performance and of working collaboratively and building strong working relationships with colleagues.
