Our Finance team: The Finance team enables and supports Baringa’sfinancial success, delivering a great finance service to our variousstakeholders. It provides the necessary support to ensure our growing businessis in control of its financial and commercial performance, as well as compliantwith relevant UK and international finance and tax regulations. The team spansFinance Operations, Financial Control, Tax and Commercial Finance.
Help to ensure we have the correct workflow management and co-ordination in place to support the business on cross boarder working engagements
Assess any permanent establishment risks and mitigate these risks where possible
Support the business with cross jurisdictional contracting queries including review of client contracts to ensure tax compliance and tax efficiency
Assist partners and billing teams globally to ensure Projects are properly set up at inception, taking account of relevant indirect tax issues and compliance (including support with obtaining withholding tax certificates).
Manage and develop Baringa’s transfer pricing policy, with support from our external professional advisors. Ensuring compliance with transfer pricing guidelines and provide guidance in planning and optimising our transfer pricing policies
Support the Tax Manager on International corporate and indirect tax compliance, and on the development and implementation of global risk management and control frameworks covering the delivery of cross border working.
Carry out tax research and analysis of technical issues and tax legislation relating to WHT and PE Risks
Continually review and update our global tax mobility tax guidance.
International Finance Projects


Supporting on International expansion related activities which could include support on M&A activities, new entity set up or Group Structuring advice
Supporting on the delivery of global tax projects (Business Travel compliance, new and existing cross border working policies, etc).
Global Mobility Offerings
Working with our Group Financial Control team to ensure all costs incurred are allocated to the appropriate entity and accounted for in line with our policy
Supporting the International Mobility Team to ensure any taxes paid in multiple jurisdictions by Baringa on behalf of employees are recovered from the individual
An understanding of GM tax fundamentals across various jurisdictions and areas of tax, and experience in interpreting and applying overseas tax legislation and guidance to real-world cross-border situations.
