The Finchley Day Nursery & Pre School are looking to appoint a Early Years Practitioner Level 3 this role will be for our Meerkat's 3months-2 years and Pre-school 3 -5 Years . Our nursery was formally a Baptist church and has been carefully restored and refurbished to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment in which children can grow and develop through our child-centred approach and focused learning. We offer quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
The nursery is located on Hertford Road in East Finchley, close to East Finchley underground station, which is less than a 10-minute walk to the nursery, with good transport links from and into central London. There is a bus stop is also conveniently located and street parking is available. 00pm and require our staff to work varied shift patterns between our opening and closing times.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery and promote these daily in every routine.
Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff, and families.
Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Facilitate a strong key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and cover all children daily when colleagues are absent.
Attend regular team meetings to ensure that you remain updated on key priorities, changes, developments and regularly review company policies and procedures.
*As a Nursery Practitioner, you will need:
Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - essential
Fluent in written and spoken English - essential
Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable
