JOB SUMMARY

A key role within a dynamic, collaborative team managing the orders of multiple major National Accounts from receipt, through to fulfilment and delivery. Acting as the conduit between the customer, the commercial team, and supply chain to ensure we execute in a way that delivers our customer expectations. Responsible that fill rate goals are met, and all necessary parties remain informed through reporting and/or physical communication. Responsible for independently analysing customer orders and forming recommendations on cuts, PO extensions, and when to pass the order to be picked. Manage order allocations and prepares orders for the warehouse management system. Identify and understand customer service issues and work collaboratively to put improvement plans in place. Regularly review service levels and ways of working with the National Account Managers and customers. >

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

To build, maintain a strong collaborative working relationships with customers to deliver a high standard of customer service, acting as the main contact point for all operational aspects of account management.

· Input/review incoming orders for accuracy, including customer specific pricing, promotional discounts, ship dates, terms, shipping requirements, etc before order release. Responsible for identifying all EDI/Pricing/Item errors and working with the system manager to rectify quickly.

· End-to-end processing of customer orders proactively monitor product availability on open orders, work with supply chain to understand challenges and potentially improve results. Communicate any issues shortages/potential backorders/cuts to commercial teams, while recommending course of action. Provide feedback on future product availability, make recommendations for cancel or re-order if necessary.

· Manages order reservations and prepares orders for pick release to the warehouse management system, while balancing fill rates, shipping window requirements and product availability. Responsible for systematic pick releases for managed accounts.

· To maintain customer information held on file, ensure new requirements are communicated throughout commercial, operations, supply chain and recorded to mitigate risk on chargebacks.

· To support existing and new business development by ensuring that customers receive their orders on time and in full, resolving any queries or issues in a timely and professional manner.

· Work closely with the National Account Managers to achieve/exceed targets for invoiced sales, fill rates and profitability.

· Running and maintaining reports both for Operational and Commercial use.

· Attending customer visits as the Operational liaison, representing our brands appropriately.

· Participating in specialist meetings both internal and external.

· Flexibility to operate across multiple accounts to balance workload within the wider team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise workload. Strong self-motivation is essential.

· Experience of processing orders and managing orderbooks, ideally using an EBS system (Oracle or similar).

· Good computer literacy (including familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel) is a must.

· Experience of working with a BI package (OBIEE or similar) would be advantageous, but not essential.

· Experience with Microsoft Teams would be advantageous, since a proportion of remote working may be required.

· A second language would be advantageous, but not essential.
