This role involves leading client engagements, developing ESG strategies, and providing expert guidance on sustainability, risk & audit and governance issues. The Senior Director will work closely with clients across various industries to assess ESG risks and opportunities, implement best practices, and ensure that ESG considerations are integrated into their business operations and decision-making processes. Client Engagement & Leadership: Lead and manage ESG integration projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and tailored ESG solutions if required.
Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to proposals and pitches.
ESG Strategy Development: Work with clients to develop and implement comprehensive ESG strategies that align with their business goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Risk & Opportunity Assessment: Conduct in-depth assessments of ESG risks and opportunities for clients, providing actionable recommendations to enhance their ESG performance.
Team Leadership & Development: Grow, Mentor and lead a team of ESG associates, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in ESG, sustainability consulting, or Risk and Audit functions, with at least 3-5 years in a senior consulting or leadership role or experience as a head of sustainability/ESG in a global corporate.
