Aspect Housing Ltd is looking for a Registered Care Home Manager who has the ability to propose, apply for, deliver, and run a CQC registered service. As a care manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of day to day operations within the care setting, including recruiting and managing staff teams, and ensuring that the quality of the services provided meets national care standards. We are looking for a Care Home Manager who: Has extensive experience managing people, services, and quality in supported living accommodations, specializing in Mental Health and Learning Disabilities

  • To ensure service delivery to service users is person-centered, safe, and compliant with both CQC and the policies set by Individual Care Services
  • To lead and supervise a group of Care Workers and be responsible for a group of allocated service users.
  • To ensure your team provides and maintains the highest levels of care in accordance with the Company’s vision, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, implement, and review client care and support plans and ensure all associated documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Assess new referrals and carry out needs assessments
  • Undertake Care Worker supervisions, including write-up of notes.
  • Undertake observations of Care Workers' work performance, including write-up of notes.
  • Complete new starter inductions and monitor to sign-off.
  • Hold regular team meetings including preparation of meeting notes and actions.
  • Hold, or participate in, meetings with service users, their families / representatives, relevant professionals etc.
  • Undertake regular audits of the service.
  • Prepare a 4-week Rota, ensuring appropriate cover is maintained according to agreed levels of support.
  • Post holders may be required to work on shift when necessary.
  • Participate in the on-call Rota (which will include some evenings and weekends).
  • Holds a QCF 5 in Health and Social Care
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes, and best practice
