Lancaster University Library and Open Book Futures are looking to recruit a full time, fixed term Open Book Futures Accessibility and Library Relationship Manager. This is a really exciting opportunity to contribute to the Open Book Futures (OBF) project which seeks to develop and support organisations, tools and practices that enable both academics and the wider public to make more and better use of books published on an Open Access basis. This project is jointly funded by Research England and Arcadia.

You will play a key role in ensuring that all accessibility standards and legal requirements are met when developing resources as well as identifying, establishing and developing relationships with library partners to promote the work of OBF including arranging bespoke activities and speaking at professional events. In addition you will carry out key market research in this field to inform the development of the project and ensure its alignment with sector needs.

The post is anticipated to run between 3rd June 2024 – 23rd January 2026 although some flexibility is possible within these dates.
