This would suit someone looking to work around school run hours but not exclusive to.

What will the Group Payroll Specialist role involve?

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for a number of group companies using Sage 50 Payroll
  • Collate payroll information from various sources across the group;
  • Calculate variable pay (i.e. overtime, unpaid leave, holiday pay etc);
  • Process payroll through payroll software;
  • Upload payslips to HR system;
  • Prepare payment files;
  • Update employee records within payroll software and HR system;
  • Prepare payroll journals for each payroll;
  • Deal with processing of wage advances;
  • Filing pension returns for each payroll;
Suitable Candidate for the Group Payroll Specialist:
  • Payroll experience;
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll or equivalent;
  • Good Excel knowledge (Pivot Tables and Vlookups);
  • Positive can-do attitude;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Great attention to detail;
  • IT literate;
  • Ability to work autonomously but also as part of a team.
