Job Purpose

The person will be placed as Sr. DELMIA Support Consultant at the customer location in PLM Operations team. The primary responsibility is to maintain the functionalities, custom solutions and interfaces deployed in 3DEXPERIENCE and other PLM applications from various capability development teams and contribute for production support activities and act as a single point of contact for all production support activities related to DELMIA V6 and DELMIA V6 Integrated applications.

The PLM Operations group is responsible for the production operations of the PLM toolset predominantly the 3DExperience 2023x and is adapting the Agile methodology for its operations. In this role the person will be joining one of our teams and will be working closely with the teammates and customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • Candidate will be part of the Digital Manufacturing team and as a Senior DELMIA Support consultant, you will work closely with the Business Users, Group Product Owners, Scrum Masters, team members, value stream leads for production support activities
  • Execute Tech support responsibilities: End-to-End ownership of tech support request from opening until closure ensuring customer satisfaction via Visit, Phone, Confluence or E-mail
  • Determine source of the problem (Product based, Installation, Access, Data specific, License specific, Process based etc.) and identify the right stakeholders for problem resolution or suggest/perform bypass methodologies wherever applicable
  • Timely deliver answers / solutions to the customers, effective co-ordination with cross functional teams and development squads
  • Coordinate Technical Support activities with Tech Support group, provide necessary inputs to increase operation services quality and improve customer satisfaction
  • Understanding the SAP requirement for 3DExperience-SAP integration issues and identifying right stakeholders for production issue resolution or suggest/perform bypass methodologies wherever applicable
  • Understanding the legacy client applications/reports and identifying right stakeholders for production issue resolution or suggest/perform bypass methodologies wherever applicable
  • Efficiently publishing status reports to the management and customer
  • Continuous assessment on improving current process for better customer experience

Knowledge / Experience

Essential:

  • Extensive experience in DS suite of products of 3DEXPERIENCE/V6 (DELMIA V6)
  • Understanding the different Use cases of Manufacturing BOM, Bill of Process, Process Authoring, Line Balancing, Work Instructions, Manufacturing Reporting
  • Good knowledge in business process e.g. MBOM, Process Planning, Work Instructions, Factory layout planning, Resource Libraries Management, Simulation etc.
  • Experience in Configuration management in Variant, effectivity
  • Experience in End to End Change management of MBOM
  • Excellent communication skills are needed both verbally and written, to interact with peers and customers
  • Functional experience in product development in Automotive domain
  • Ability to manage customer expectations clearly & concisely
  • Good Presentation Skills (Client and Management)
  • Experience in Automotive/Aerospace/Manufacturing industries PLM development or operations support
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 products and Microsoft Teams

Desirable:

  • T&F, BIW, Powertrain Manufacturing industry experience will be an added advantage
  • Working experience with Legacy Manufacturing applications
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile framework (e.g. Scrum, LeSS, SAFe)
  • Exposure to Agile concepts and scaled agile approach
