The Consultant will provide quality, effective and efficient consultancy support to our public and private sector clients and will lead transformational projects with client teams and wider stakeholders so that they are delivered on time and within budget.

The day to day role will involve: -

  • Lead on the delivery of capital projects with a value of up to £50m
  • Lead client engagements liaising with officers from the executive and specific teams as required
  • Leading projects ensure that governance, monitoring and assurance is in place leading so successful project delivery
  • Develop and manage all aspects of a project and programme including risk, issues, resource, finance and change
  • To advise and lead procurement activities liaising with partner organisations

Experience required

  • Degree or equivalent sector experience
  • 5+ years of experience ideally with experience working with local authorities, councils, housing associations.
  • Evidence of commitment to CPD
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple projects
