Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Audit Consultant, you will engage in a diverse role, managing a varied portfolio of Owner Managed Businesses (OMBs), including international enterprises, property clients, and rapidly growing businesses preparing for sale, as well as UK subsidiaries of foreign-owned firms. Your responsibilities will encompass all phases of the audit process, from planning to completion. Daily tasks will involve addressing complex areas of fieldwork and finalizing comprehensive reports. In addition to your audit duties, you will prepare year-end accounts and assist clients with management accounts and cash flow forecasting. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the manager to mentor junior staff, reviewing and supporting their audit work while providing valuable insights to clients.
In your initial year, you will enhance your advisory skills in a client-facing role, with opportunities for advancement into management within the firm.
Qualifications and Skills Required
The firm is seeking a qualified audit professional (preferably newly qualified or nearing completion of their ACA / ACCA qualification) with experience in an audit team delivering high-quality audit services. Familiarity with all aspects of the audit process and experience in mentoring junior team members will be advantageous for success in this role.
