This firm is a well-established company with a wide range of products supplied into the building, plumbing and electrical trades, they work with large multi million pound turnover business and the local building firm and pride themselves on offering equally exceptional standards of products and services to both.
This role will be based out of Manchester with a modest team of 10, including 3 Internal Sales Representatives who will be keeping you busy with appointments. Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
Lead the sales team to meet and surpass business targets.
Implement strategic sales plans aligned with company goals.
Coordinate with marketing team to promote property sales.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
Proven experience in business development or a similar role in the merchant / trades industry.
Field sales is not essential but our client is keen to see a keen interest in converting sales face to face - if this is the next step in your sales criteria click apply
Outstanding knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office.
