Product Director – Financial Crime, Treasury & Risk

THE ROLE

Through this role you will ownthe Product Strategy, management, roadmap and delivery for Risk productsat Temenos – specifically Financial Crime, Treasury and Financial RiskManagement across multiple channels, and multiple market segments (large banks,challengers, Tiers 3-5, credit unions etc.). You will be fully accountablefor global service offerings from inception to market launchand work closely with sales and GTM counterparts in drivingthe commercial success of your portfolio.
You will own the full lifecycle from conceptualization to delivery of associatedbanking capabilities and services at global level.

OPPORTUNITES

  • You willlead research and analysis on market trends, competition, innovation,customer behaviors, and Temenos positioning to yield key insightsthat drive product roadmaps.

  • You willbuild business cases for new product initiatives, with a focus on marketand opportunity sizing.

  • You willmanage the product vision, scope, releases, and overall governance,including prioritization of business requirements with reference (MODEL)banking business processes, APIs, and provide guidance on refinement andelaboration of the backlog

  • You willdefine and be accountable for product goals and metrics including qualityKPIs for your products and services.

  • You willown the roadmap of new services or features to design and develop,cross-functionally coordinate launches to market with the GTM team, anddrive subsequent improvements, basic data analysis and user research.

  • You willdeliver on the Temenos’ ‘open for growth’ product KPIs to reduce inflow ofnon-reusable/re-sellable features

  • You willdrive revenue and profit growth in your portfolio through a tightcommercial business case approach to roadmaps and new market propositionsby working closed with Clients, Prospects, Partners and ultimately Sales& Pre-Sales.

  • You willensure the success of your portfolio by being close to clients fromrunning regular user groups through to supporting on-boarding of pilotclients or beta programs. 

  • You willdrive modern digital product management principles and serve as a leaderacross technology, design, and product teams.

  • You willwork with Product engineering to oversee End-to-end development and go tomarket execution of both new and recuring services.

  • You willmodel team norms and contribute to positive team dynamics, leading tocontinuous team performance improvement.

  • You will bea passionate advocate for the customer. Be a subject matter expert oncompetitors, products, and industry needs

  • You will work in closeproximity with executive leadership as well as heads of departments todrive product strategy, resource investment, and KPI calibration.
SKILLS
  • You shouldhave 15 + years strong product management skills, in-depth experience inbanking, and demonstrated ability to develop and implement productstrategies

  • You shouldhave minimum 10 years previous experience in banking or fintech domain

  • You shouldhave prior experience building and managing teams and setting strategy ina product organization, with KPIs that you were directly responsible for

  • You shouldhave ability to understand and craft a story / insight frommultiple sources of data. Using data to drive decision making andprioritization

  • Youshould have planning, budgets and business case development, and goalsetting experience
