My client is launching a new and exciting fashion game experience where individuals from all backgrounds can connect, express themselves creatively, and find inspiration. As a Game Director you will be one of the team's most visible leaders, who will help establish, represent, and protect the game vision for my client. You will be a compelling communicator who inspires ideas and actions in team members across all game development disciplines. You will use their influence to steer the game through the challenges and opportunities of being first of its kind fashion mobile game while surprising and delighting millions of daily players.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the game development.
  • Steer and navigate the product's direction.
  • Drive the project schedule, including the roadmap, backlog and game development milestones.
  • Create innovative ideas to solve problems and keep the team moving forward.
  • Ensure the highest level of suability, playability and visual stimulation.
  • Collaborate with game designers to define and refine gameplay mechanics that are engaging and enjoyable for mobile users.
  • Ensure the game's interface is intuitive and user-friendly.
  • Identify essential game improvements and enhancements.
  • Be on top of industry trends and the competitive landscape to continually evolve our thinking and product standards.
  • Partner with company executives to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Be the main point of accountability for every aspect of the game's development.
  • Have a masterful ability to balance the needs of the product, game team, and company initiatives.
  • Own the analysis of game KPI's, UA performance data, user testing, and market trends.
  • Actively manage the game's P&L with an eye for consistent profit growth and cost reductions.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of development experience within the games industry.
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role as a gameplay director, game director, product director, or other in an internal game development team.
  • Experienced a full production from inception to live-ops of a mobile game.
  • Proven skills designing game features.
  • You are highly analytical, excellent modeling skills, masterful understanding of complex systems, good statistical skills.
  • Production planning and day-to-day operational experience.
  • Creative abilities and functionality in demanding technical environments.
  • A love for playing and creating games.
