Anantara Hotels part of Minor Hotels is looking for a proactive, and energetic Global Luxury Senior Sales Manager - Meetings & Incentives with a High-End Luxury MICE background in the UK market.
The candidate will report to the UK Global Director of Business Development and be responsible for the development of commercial business opportunities for the Anantara portfolio of hotels within Europe.
Educate and build brand awareness of Anantara Hotels & Resorts within the UK market.
Manage a portfolio of High-End MICE accounts and seek for new business opportunities with outbound potential for Minor Luxury Cluster.
Implement commercial strategy for all assigned accounts, as well as deploy new business market growth plan.
Coordinate efforts with our Groups and Events Management Team to secure conversion of identified opportunities.
Build and deploy an annual action plan in coordination with the property sales team focusing on: Roadshow Plan, Client FAM Trips, and participation to Industry Event Tradeshows.
Work with the Directors of Business Development in all Business Units (countries) to deploy a collective strategy.
Update commercial CRM with all the activities planned and executed.
The candidate must have minimum 5 years of sales experience within the Luxury UK hotel market.
Established commercial relationship with majority of the Key High-End MICE Accounts & Agencies within the UK.
Expert in outbound High-End business and a thorough understanding of sales practices, methodologies and customer buying patterns and channels.
Established experience, and reputation within the Luxury Hotel Industry with a Global Strategic Vision.
Data, business performance and reporting understanding.
Degree level - preferably in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management. Value given to post graduate qualifications.
Eagerness and desire to work in a multinational environment within the travel industry in a high sale driven role.
MS Office, Advanced Excel, Advanced PowerPoint, SAP.
Fluent spoken and written English. Other languages an advantage.
The position requires flexibility to travel internationally.
The role will be based in our United Kingdom Global Sales Headquarters, C/O nhow London, London, UK.
