Interim Estates Surveyor
Temporary, Full time (4/5 days per week)
We are working alongside a local authority to support with a Interim Estates Surveyor on a temporary basis.
The estate management of an allocated commercial and corporate property portfolio.
Includes investment commercial property, corporate property, community centres, open spaces, and leisure centres
Landlord and Tenant professional and estate management work including leasehold and rent review negotiations, using comparable market evidence for the investment portfolio and land to maximise value.
Advise colleagues on the best course of estates action, supporting colleagues with their service objectives.
Ensuring details are processed by the asset team so that records are accurate and rent is raised correctly, including business rates.
Progress leases, licences, wayleaves, easements, from agreement.
Educated to degree level in property discipline.
Several years’ experience of estates management.
Extensive experience of conducting rent reviews, lease renews, including good understanding of the processes to follow.
Significance experience in estates management on a commercial portfolio
Good ability to utilise the Council’s property database, Microsoft offices, finance database for orders etc.
