- The estate management of an allocated commercial and corporate property portfolio.
- Includes investment commercial property, corporate property, community centres, open spaces, and leisure centres
- Landlord and Tenant professional and estate management work including leasehold and rent review negotiations, using comparable market evidence for the investment portfolio and land to maximise value.
- Advise colleagues on the best course of estates action, supporting colleagues with their service objectives.
- Ensuring details are processed by the asset team so that records are accurate and rent is raised correctly, including business rates.
- Progress leases, licences, wayleaves, easements, from agreement.
- viewings, support with valuation inspections.
- Ideally Membership of RICS, ARIC or working towards professional accreditation.
- Educated to degree level in property discipline.
- Several years’ experience of estates management.
- Extensive experience of conducting rent reviews, lease renews, including good understanding of the processes to follow.
- Significance experience in estates management on a commercial portfolio
- Good ability to utilise the Council’s property database, Microsoft offices, finance database for orders etc.
