It’s a role for a seasoned professional, with a Diploma in Counselling or equivalent. Excellent communication skillsand plenty of post-qualifying practice hours go without saying, while experience of working inmulti-disciplinary teams and with volunteers would also be a plus.
We would be particularly interested to hear from you if you have experience of working with children and youngpeople, adults in the perinatal period or adults impacted by drug use.

SDS Forth Valley, a project of the Independent Living Association and is increasing its staff team to support theincreasing number of individuals, families, children and unpaid carers who are looking to management their ownsupport having received a budget from their local Health and Social Care Partnership. We are the local disabledpersons support organisation covering the whole of the Forth Valley area.
Having received funding for 3 years we are looking for one full time and one part time (21hours) SDS InformationOfficer to enhance our current team. This is to individuals,carers, families and our Health and Social Care partners.

Having received funding for 3 years we are looking for a Project Development Manager to enhance our current team.Based in Alloa, the role is to manage and develop a project for the dissemination of SDS information to a rangeof people who are looking for community care support either for themselves or for the person they care for. The key responsibilities will encompass leading service excellence, establishing operational performancebenchmarks, optimising project initiatives, boosting efficiency, and cultivating a high-performance environment.Your leadership, persuasive abilities, and relationship-building skills will be essential in driving change, andyour essential talent for motivating, nurturing, and maximizing team potential will be invaluable.
Columcille provides a safe and supportive healthy social environment which offers creative daytime activities and asense of community from its premises in the Morningside area of Edinburgh. We support people who have learningdisabilities, and mental health needs through arts & crafts, cooking, woodwork, printing, gardening,pottery, drama, holistic therapies and dance. Some 1-1 support is provided inthe local community.
Relief workers cover staff absences due to illness, holiday or training. Provide personal care and support with using wheelchairs and mobility aids.
Providecover on the centre’s tea break and lunch rota as required.
Tidy workshops each day and help maintain aclean and safe work environment.
Be guided by Columcille policies and procedures and the SSSC Codes ofPractice.
Take part in induction, staff training and supervision meetings.
Experience of one to one support work with people with learning disabilities.
Available for minimum of two days in a week to make the work mutually worthwhile.

Options Fife Respite and Outreach provides a range of flexible support through outreach and overnight short breaks atweekends, evenings and school holidays to children and young people with complex learning disabilities andautism. We offer a high-quality child centred service providing positive and enabling experiences for the youngpeople, supporting them through the challenges and complexities that enable them to work towards theirindividual outcomes and personal goals. We work closely with families and other professionals in providingsupport tailored around the child’s plan.
We are looking to recruit two Young People’s Worker Nights, working four nights on (10 hours per night) every secondweek. You will play a fundamental role in ensuring that the young people you work with have the best possibleexperience in working towards their objectives in line with their care plan, supporting children to progresswithin their individual outcomes. We support young people who have epilepsy, need personal care and need gastrostomy feeding. Aberlour, inconjunction with NHS, provides all staff with training.
