About the role:

Wild is seeking a dynamic and experienced Junior Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in UK grocery or high-street retail environments. The primary responsibility of the Retail Account Manager will be to take responsibility for their own accounts and support other Senior Account Managers on Wild’s largest retailers, ensuring smooth communication, timely execution of promotional activities, and overall account satisfaction. The candidate should be proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, and is familiar with EPOS files, promo forms, and new line forms. Additionally, having some prior experience in account management will be advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • - Support the day-to-day management of retail accounts, ensuring excellent communication and relationship-building with key stakeholders.

  • - Assist in the planning and execution of promotional activities, including but not limited to, product launches, seasonal promotions, and marketing campaigns.

  • - Analyze EPOS files to track sales performance and identify opportunities for growth within retail accounts.

  • - Manage UK accounts, responsible for P&L of £1.5M

  • - Prepare and submit promo forms and new line forms accurately and in a timely manner.

  • - Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment on account strategies and objectives.

  • - Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.

  • - Address any issues or concerns raised by retail partners promptly and effectively, striving for resolution and customer satisfaction.

  • - Utilise Excel and other relevant software/tools to manage account-related data and documents efficiently.

  • - 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the UK grocery or high street retail sector.

  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

  • - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.

  • - Familiarity with EPOS files, promo forms, and new line forms is preferred.

  • - Prior experience in account management or customer service is desirable.

  • - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
