Introduction

This is an incredible opportunity to join a business with a big investment and plans for their sales team. We are looking for someone to assist in the growth and acquisition of new business, as part of a growing the team your role will evolve alongside the company as it expands.

The role is primarily office / field based.

The Role

This is a newly created role for the business. The existing accounts are well looked-after and now the company is seeking to reach for new heights by building out a Business Development Team.

With a well-established client base throughout the midlands, you will be tasked with hunting for new opportunities and being an advocate for the products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings.
  • Meet sales targets set by managers and contribute to team targets.
  • Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls.
  • Network with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and services the group has to offer.
  • Speak to customers, either face to face or over the phone.
  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes, and then documenting them.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers.
  • Market and promote a portfolio of Group products by writing and designing sales literature and attending industry events.
  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems and peripherals.
  • Provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the installation and use of computer systems and networks, both before and after the sale ensuring the help desk process is followed.

Requirements

You must be money-focused, competitive and driven. A true hunter who has the ambition to succeed.

Preferably coming from a strong sales background (industry-specific experience would be ideal)

For the right person, this opportunity will unlock serious earning potential; with a basic salary of up to £30k, first year earnings of £45k and upwards of £70k by year three. You'll have a car allowance of up to £4500 per year and expert training from the Sales Director.
