Job Description

I am working with a local company who are searching for an Internal Sales Assistant to join their team.

Location, Chelmsford

Job Responsibilities:

You will be working within the Sales team, supporting with enhancing the sales experience internally for both the customer and the company.

  • Processing customer orders and upselling products to every customer
  • Organising direct and inbound deliveries through suppliers to complete all orders.
  • Checking every Purchase order to ensure stock availability and discounts available.
  • Checking all orders for error
  • Speaking with customers on the phone and by email to process all orders coming in
  • Pro-actively calling suppliers to see what discounts can be applied to each order
  • Providing support to the Sales Executives during busy periods
  • Taking ownership of complex orders and liaising with the relevant departments
  • Providing support to customers with support on any product queries or questions (including pre-sales and post sales)
  • Reporting any financial discrepancies to the finance team
  • Keeping up to date with various sales inboxes
  • adhoc duties

Your Experience:

  • Experience working within a sales team would be a bonus
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to solve customer issues and help with any questions
