Our client, a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, is seeking a Service Desk Assistant to join their team for a 2-month contract. As a Service Desk Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties required:
- Providing support to the service desk by answering incoming calls and assisting with customer inquiries.
- Meeting and greeting clients, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Managing emails, responding promptly to inquiries and forwarding messages to the relevant departments.
- Liaising with different departments, coordinating efforts to resolve customer concerns and ensure timely solutions.
Skills required:
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong administration skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a high volume of incoming calls and emails.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and email management systems.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
