You will have direct responsibility for leading and managing the Operations directorate that includes Neighbourhoods, Supported Housing, Tenancy Sustainment (including Lettings and Income) Repairs and Maintenance, Facilities and Estates and Customer Experience.

You will also have responsibility for:

  • Leading the directorate and ensuring we rise to the challenge of Consumer Regulation across all core customer service functions
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our customers, developing, and implementing a comprehensive Customer Strategy.
  • Effective consultation with tenants and other customers by driving and developing our new Influencing Framework to strengthen the Customer Voice
  • Delivery of effective customer communication to meet regulatory and customer expectations.
  • Ensuring effective Customer Scrutiny and engagement/influence in service scrutiny and continual improvement.
  • The delivery of rent and service charges in line with Statutory and Regulatory requirements and Group policy.
  • Developing strategic priorities and annual business plans for housing management, responsive repairs, income collection, lettings, and supported housing.
  • Ensuring the repairs service is not only efficient and effective but supports high levels of customer satisfaction and meets both customer needs and budgetary requirements.
  • As a member of the Executive Team, you will be responsible for the delivery of the Corporate Plan, Annual Plan, Business Plan, and company objectives.

We would like to hear from you if:

  • If you are a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing with Level 5 or relevant sector experience.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of the housing sector, including legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Have held a senior leadership role with substantial housing management and leadership experience, together with a track record of effectively leading successful teams that deliver results.
  • Have excellent planning and organisational skills with a focus on cost-effective service delivery.
  • Experience of formulating policies and procedures and preparing and managing budgets and monitoring financial performance.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
