The opportunity

As the Head of People for London, you will be responsible for driving the people agenda to enable our overall talent strategy under the direction of our CPO & Iris Leadership. This position will be responsible for proactive business partnering, leadership and guidance on all aspects of Human Resources while ensuring we foster a positive and inclusive environment. You will work in partnership with the London CEO, broader management team and key players at the executive level. Ultimately being at the table in London having a strong people voice that enables

us to deliver against our local and global vision / goals.

How you'd spend your day

General roles and responsibilities

  • Lead and own the People strategy for London, driving forward key initiatives and change
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support both the business vision and our employee experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner and coach to employees and managers on all people-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, talent development, and career progression.
  • Partner with our Head of L&D to lead and facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge and capabilities and to support career growth and succession planning.
  • Partner with our Head of Talent Acquisitionto support talent needs and input where necessary i.e job descriptions, reward recommendations etc.
  • Act as our overall DE&I Lead for London, spearheading cross-around diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Manage the London People team to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Leverage Data analytics to identify trends, insights, opportunities for improvement along with recommendations to our business leaders on actions they can take locally to both manage but equally be ahead of the game on engagement, performance, DE&I etc
  • Ensure the team are able to manage and resolve employee grievances and complaints in a timely and effective manner, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Stay informed about HR best practices and industry trends, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience and support business goals.

  • Be the guardian of the Iris Employee, spearheading group values, behaviors and ensuring all key players across London live and breathe them in all we do.
  • Be direct & set expectations with our leadership team reinforcing governance along the way
  • Be present & partner closely with the senior stakeholder to understand the agency business strategy and how to translate this into People solutions
  • Be a spokesperson for Iris London, internally and externally. Shout about what we are doing and raise the awareness of the agency in region -through blogs, talks and panels.
