About the Safety, Health, and Environment Manager role: 
As our Safety, Health, and Environment Manager , you will lead site-level deployment of SC Johnson’s Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) management practices. This role also provides technical and strategic leadership to ensure site-wide processes associated with the management of high-hazard chemical processes are effectively deployed and maintained.
You will work closely with the site and regional SHE leaders to align SC Johnson’s overall safety, health and environmental strategies with site-level targets and objectives. While this role requires safety, health and environmental technical knowledge and experience, success is equally dependent on developing and supporting “champions” within the site to drive day-to-day ownership for SHE.
The key responsibilities of our Safety, Health, and Environment Manager will include:

Supporting compliance with regulatory and company standards associated with the management of high-hazard chemical processes (e.g., process safety management).
Coordinating completion of risk assessments such as Process Hazard Analyses (PHA) and periodic PHA revalidations for the site’s high-hazard chemical processes. 
Previous experience / knowledge required of our Safety, Health, and Environment Manager:

Bachelor’s degree from an academic university in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline
Competencies, behaviors and aptitudes required of our Safety, Health, and Environment Manager:

Project management experience to enable prioritization and management of multiple projects to completion
