We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our GB Cement division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on health, safety, and wellbeing matters to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate incidents and identify root causes to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs, including training and competency frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Seek out best practices and implement them to improve our health and safety performance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Organize and deliver training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Oversee the induction program for visitors and contractors.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
  • IOSH membership
  • NEBOSH National Diploma (advantageous)
  • Extensive relevant health and safety advisory experience
  • Excellent track record in managing health and safety metrics
  • Demonstrable level of competency in auditing
