About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at W Talent Manufacturing. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading our health and safety initiatives and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and personal responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety management systems, including incident reporting and investigation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations, including ISO 45001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively with management and employees.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
