Role purpose: To lead, manage and deliver fit for purpose and compliant HR Operations service, aligning processes, policies and systems to strategic objectives and driving the delivery of HR excellence to all colleagues at LPCH.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Leading and embedding best practice HR policies, processes, systems and governance to drive efficient, compliant people practices across the business that align with LPCH values and behaviours
2. Leading and managing the provision of legally sound Employee Relations advice and guidance, ensuring that preventative and commercially beneficial options and solutions are offered to the business 
3. Driving the payroll and benefit function to deliver quality service standards to colleagues
4. Providing robust and meaningful people MI, key metrics and insight to aid strategic decision making
5. Leading, developing and managing the performance and potential of the HR Operations team to become a true HR advisory service
Develop and maintain positive stakeholder relationships to implement and embed best practice HR across LPCH

You and your capabilities:
- CIPD qualified or equivalent
- Track record of operating at senior leadership levels
- Excellent working knowledge and successful implementation of people policies, procedure, employment law and payroll and benefits
- Proven track record in managing ER and Occupational Health services in a complex business
- Proven track record in leading a Payroll function
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to translate multiple sources of data, translating into meaningful trends and insight
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Commercially astute
- Experience of people leadership
- Proven track record in translating business strategies into meaningful HR policies and systems
- Excellent multiple stakeholder/shareholder management skills
- Extensive external network
- Proven track record in change management
Ability to effectively coach and mentor others
