This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and production activities, ensuring efficiency, high standards, and team collaboration. Position Overview: As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a critical role in supervising the team and ensuring that targets are met on time and in full. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality standards, coordinating department activities, and promoting continuous improvement within the warehouse. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to foster a positive working environment. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage warehouse staff in line with company policies and procedures. Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the team, controlling production activities to meet deadlines. Collaborate with the management team to address any production issues and implement solutions. Monitor and maintain product quality, ensuring that standards are met consistently. Act as a role model for other staff, demonstrating professionalism and a strong work ethic. Coordinate departmental projects and activities to ensure high standards are achieved, and production goals are met. Conduct employee reviews, training, development, mentoring, appraisals, and assist in hiring new staff when necessary. Contribute to and uphold 5S activities to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Evaluate department processes and recommend improvements based on process analysis. Work closely with other departments to ensure full health and safety compliance. Perform manual handling tasks as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Ensure production outputs are completed on time and to the required quality. Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and other company policies. Ensure proper disposal of waste by separating materials into designated containers. Promote and support continuous improvement activities to improve safety, engagement, and operational efficiency. Strong commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability practices.
