Job Summary

Frasers Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Shirebrook. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and trainee supervisors, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coaching: Direct line management and coaching of warehouse operatives/trainee supervisors, including 1:1 discussions to discuss performance vs. expectation, identifying SMART goals when performance is not met.
  • Performance Monitoring: Working with the Section Manager to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for improvement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Driving performance on key metrics to ensure an efficient warehouse operation that can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full.
  • Safety and Compliance: Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the Safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures.
  • Labour Planning: Reviewing weekly labour plans to ensure adequate cover, sharing with Section Manager, highlighting issues/feedback.
  • Target Achievement: Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating a plan to bridge the gap.
  • Strategic Partnership: Partnering with the Warehouse Leadership team and other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported.
  • Culture Change and Turnover Reduction: Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction initiatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Leadership Potential: High potential for people and change management.
  • Systems Skills: Good systems skills.
  • Customer Focus: Customer-focused approach to operational management.
  • Problem-Solving: Resilient, flexible, and approachable, with problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.
