Warehouse Operations Manager

We're seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you'll be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives and trainee supervisors, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and driving performance on key metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct line management and coaching of warehouse operatives/trainee supervisors, including 1:1s to discuss performance vs expectation and identifying SMART goals.
- Working with the section manager to monitor delivery to plan and key areas for improvement.
- Driving performance on key metrics, ensuring an efficient warehouse operation that can fulfill customer web and store demand on time and in full.
- Driving the highest standards of safety on site, working with the safety team to ensure adherence to all safety routines/procedures.
- Reviewing weekly labour plans to ensure adequate cover, sharing with the section manager, and highlighting issues/feedback.
- Providing detail when daily/weekly targets are not met and creating a plan to bridge.
- Partnering with the warehouse leadership team and other key stakeholders to ensure all strategic activity is on track and supported.
- Supporting the successful implementation of culture change and turnover reduction.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
- High potential for people and change management.
- Good systems skills.
- Customer-focused approach to operational management.
- Resilient, flexible, and approachable.
- Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.
