Regional Benefits Manager – EMEA and India

The Regional Benefits Manager is an integral member of the Global Benefits Team with specialized focus on benefit and wellness programs in EMEA and India. This role requires a deep understanding of local regulations and business practices, cultural nuances and the components that make up competitive and comprehensive benefits packages.

Key Knowledge and Responsibilities

Benefits Design and Compliance

In partnership with our advisors and vendors, continuously evaluate existing benefit plans and make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to ensure our benefits offerings align with local market needs, legal requirements and industry best practices.

Benefits Administration and Analysis

Manage all aspects of the administration of the benefit programs, including program documents, participation, invoicing, issue resolution and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Analyze benefits utilization data, cost trends and provide key insights and recommendations focused on optimizing cost-effectiveness.

Employee Communication

Develop a deep understanding of our benefit programs to facilitate timely responses to employee inquiries and issue resolution when needed.

Develop communication materials to inform and educate employees about benefit programs and options. This may include written announcements, portal maintenance and live meetings.

Advisor/Vendor Collaboration

Act as the primary point of contact for local benefits advisor and vendor relationships. This includes ensuring high levels of service delivery, attending regular meetings and renewal negotiations.

Wellness Programs and Initiatives

As the regional wellness champion, promote wellness and well-being through internal and external vendor initiatives related to our five pillars of wellness: physical, emotional, financial, social and professional. This may include promotion of programs such as preventive health activities and discussion groups, mental health resources and physical fitness challenges.

Key Qualities for Success
  • At least 10 years of experience in benefits administration and program management, preferably in a multinational organization
  • An in-depth understanding of benefits regulations, tax implications and cultural differences across the applicable countries
  • Knowledge of HR and benefits technology solutions including payroll, HRIS and vendor integrations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgement and reasoning ability to assist in business decisions, especially related to HR and benefits offerings
  • Comfort navigating a global organizational structure and adapting to changing priorities
