Providing engineering creativity and competency within Score Energy division, developing and building solutions for Gas Turbine and associated Auxiliary and Accessory systems.

We have a fantastic opportunity available to support and provide engineering support across the business, representing the company from a detailed technical perspective.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, whilst providing feedback and obtaining escalation support and approval through other members of the Engineering team and most specifically the Engineering Manager and/or Lead Engineer then we welcome your application.

Use skills and knowledge that enable the role holder to function as an expert on Control and Instrumentation Engineering across Score Energy.
Engineering design and development of test and process systems, planning and organising skills to include effective prioritising, resource management and a long-term strategic focus.
Ability to recognise and diagnose operational problems, take appropriate action, and process improvement to support core product range and associated test apparatus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage performance and motivate individuals and a team.
Strong people skills to enable effective working relationships with the ability to effectively communicate with staff across the business and with contractors.
Consult with others within Score Energy and Score Group, as requested, in support of technical queries and investigations, including leading technical investigations and developments where requested to do so, specifically focused on Control and Instrumentation activities and engineering tasks.
Numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce/present it in a clear and logical format.
Provide help and direction to less experienced team members to support both their effective working, and their development.

Control Engineering or Electrical/Electronic degree, or HNC with considerable industry experience
Extensive experience in Control and Instrumentation engineering (gas turbine and/or process industry is preferred but not mandatory)
The individual shall have a good understanding and competency in Control and Instrumentation Engineering Theory and Practices
Experience in design to deployment of small to medium sized instrument and control applications for mechanical process or test solutions
Experience in design to deployment of control software systems, SCADA and HMI (Rockwell, GAP, Proficy, LabVIEW or similar platforms is preferred but not mandatory)

Planning and organising skills to include effective prioritising and resource management.
