Job Description The role definition To provide and communicate relevant and timely management information to facilitate improved performance and effective control and appropriate financial decisions. Responsible for all site based financial management, ensuring effective financial control, compliance, and reporting, as well as supporting and leading financial aspects of our group business strategies. Providing support to the completion of the annual statutory accounts, tax and audits
Leading the timely production of financial results by ensuring timely and accurate entry of financial information into SAP, to assist the management team with the decision-making process.
Cost variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
Management of the inventory provisioning and stock count deviations, whilst supporting the stock count process
Providing general financial and management accounting support to the wider finance team both in the UK and Europe, as well as supporting the European FD to ensure the function meets all of it's objectives.
Dealing with payroll for the UK side of the business
The successful candidate for this unique and exciting position will be Fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or being qualified by experience within a manufacturing environment. Experience with SAP will be beneficial going into this position as well as strong interpersonal skills due to the commercial and operational focus of the position. The successful candidate will also be highly competent with Excel and be able to work in an autonomous environment. Experience working as a Site Accountant or within the manufacturing or FMCG sector will be highly beneficial.
Bonus - 10%
