VANRATH are excited to be working alongside a leading Public Sector body who are actively seeking an Office Manager to join their team on an initial 6-month basis to work in their facilities and Assets team.
6-month contract (view to extend)

To support the Head of Facilities & Assets, Capital Build & Assets Manager and Facilities Manager in the management and delivery of an efficient and effective administrative and financial service to the Facilities & Assets Department. This will include management of the Facilities & Assets Administrative Assistant.
Provide a comprehensive and confidential administration service, which requires regular interaction across internal Directorates, external bodies and other stakeholders and supporting staff within the Department.
Have a minimum of 2 years' recent** experience of working in a demanding office environment at a supervisory level
Demonstrable experience of providing administrative solutions to support the effective and efficient running of a business unit.
Must hold valid driving licence
Management, development and delivery of all administrative, financial, clerical and general office duties including the development of internal management systems
Maintain management software system
Prepare detailed business cases, tenders and quotations in line with financial and procurement regulations, policies and procedures and corporate timescales.
Management of the Helpdesk Operator/Administrative Assistant, including the performance management and development.
Develop and maintain training records for all departmental staff.
Maintenance of an up-to-date knowledge of organisational policies and procedures at corporate and departmental levels.
