About the Role:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring that BAU processes are conducted efficiently and in accordance with risk frameworks, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure processes and needs are understood and facilitate communication between teams to support the overall strategy and improve operational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Motivate, coach, and support the wider Operations team and will include the management of direct reports.
- Ensure day-to-day delivery of the highest standard of transaction processing through effective management of the firms rates product management, payments & settlements, and reconciliations processes to ensure timely execution and high levels of accuracy for the Transactions Operations function.
Qualifications and Essential Experience
- Its is essential you have previous experience within a financial services environment, ideally fin-tech/Platform (PaaS).
- An Extensive Understanding of payments, settlements and reconciliations processes
- Understanding of regulations regarding Client Money and Safeguarding, leading on real-time issues and risk management.
- People management, including coaching, performance management and creating an environment of openness and honesty.
