City Ventures is the name given to the university entrepreneurship services and the start up ecosystem which serves students, graduates and the City of London region. Our purpose is to improve social mobility through entrepreneurship and help entrepreneurs build successful businesses that solve big problems.
City Ventures offers a wide range of services including entrepreneurship education and business support across the entire startup lifecycle from initial idea to scale ups. We also have two work spaces in the City: Better Space (an affordable work space for social enterprises based in Islington) and City Launch Lab (an incubator for student and graduate startups).
They will also play an important role in strategic engagement and supporting the City Ventures partner network. Reporting to the Head of Student Entrepreneurship they will be an important part of the City Ventures leadership team and will also have opportunities to work closely with colleagues across the university.
They will have a strong interest in entrepreneurship and social impact businesses, management experience, and experience of partnership working or business development. They will have a growth mindset and will be able to create and sustain opportunities that help City Ventures achieve its objectives and also deliver benefits for our members and entrepreneurs in the City of London region.
