  • Relationship Management: Proactively manage relationships with various label teams within Sony Music UK and manage the UK company's relationships with SoundCloud, YouTube, Vevo & our YouTube MCN network partners (partners such as MajesticCasual, TrapNation, UKF & COLORS)
  • Weekly Releases Pitching: Pitch new music releases to SoundCloud, YouTube and Vevo platforms, ensuring optimal visibility and engagement.
  • Artist Partnership Campaigns: Develop and execute artist partnership campaigns with SoundCloud, YouTube and VEVO
  • Best Practice Education: Educate Sony Music UK teams on best practices for SoundCloud, YouTube and VEVO channel management, optimisation, analytics, and audience engagement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with all parts of the business to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies on artist projects.
  • Partner Meetings: Plan and host regular music meetings with SoundCloud, YouTube & VEVO
Who you are:
  • Strong understanding of YouTube as a platform is highly desirable, including content optimisation, analytics, and audience engagement
  • Previous experience managing an artist’s/creator’s YouTube channel is highly desirable
  • Understanding of SoundCloud as a platform and previous experience managing an artist’s/creator’s SoundCloud profile is desirable
  • Passionate about music and have a good understanding of multiple genres
  • Experienced and comfortable in executing multiple, simultaneous, complex campaigns in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
  • Highly organised with an excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within the music industry
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with internal & external partners
  • Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
  • A curious nature, someone who is keen to stretch themselves to learn new things
