Science Communications Manager**

You will plan, develop and deliver work that results in positive media coverage across top-tier national and international media, on social media, as well as content for Imperials own channels.
* We are looking for someone with a track record of working with academics, turning complex issues into compelling content, and working across a variety of channels, including the media, to showcase research.
* You will have an excellent understanding of how research is conducted across different scientific disciplines and be committed to reporting on research accurately and responsibly. You will be skilled at analysing complex research and communicating it for a lay audience.
* You will have a proven news judgement and the ability to develop sophisticated media relations strategies, with a good understanding of the media landscape and an ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with key journalists.
