Impact Investment Research Intern

Position Overview

Join our boutique investment advisory firm as a Research Intern focusing on impact investment research and fundraising support for emerging market projects. You will play a key role in identifying and analysing potential investors while building comprehensive research on impact investment opportunities.

We are a boutique investment advisory firm regulated by the DFSA and based in Dubai, UAE. Our firm specialises in connecting impactful projects with aligned investors, particularly focusing on emerging markets opportunities.

Position Details

- Duration : 3 months (extendable based on performance)

- Location : St James's Street, London, UK (Hybrid arrangement with remote flexibility)

- Compensation Package :

 - Transportation allowance

 - Lunch allowance

 - Stipend

 - Personalised letter of recommendation upon successful completion

Core Responsibilities

Investor Research & Analysis

- Build and maintain a comprehensive database of impact investors, including: investment funds, family offices, financial institutions

- Analyze investor mandates and investment criteria

- Research investor track records and previous investments

- Map potential investor alignment with specific projects

Market Research

- Conduct macro-economic research on target emerging markets

- Analyse sector-specific trends and opportunities

- Research comparable projects and investments

- Track relevant policy developments and regulatory changes

Documentation & Communication

- Prepare investor-focused presentations and summaries

- Create detailed investor profiles and analysis reports

- Draft professional email correspondence

- Maintain organized research databases

- Support fundraising documentation preparation

Qualifications

Education

- Current student or recent graduate in: Data Analytics, finance, economics and related disciplines

Technical Skills

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Experience with research databases and tools

- Excellent data organization and analysis capabilities

- Strong written communication skills

Personal Qualities

- Detail-oriented research mindset

- Ability to synthesise complex information

- Self-motivated with strong initiative

- Professional communication style
