As the Early Careers Adviser, you’ll play a crucial role in to work within the Early Careers HR team to provide a high level of both HR operational support and HR advice to trainee solicitors, future trainees, solicitor apprentices and trainers. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the firm, ensuring that early career employees have the support, resources, and training they need to thrive.

Future Trainee & Trainee Induction: Plan and work with the Early Careers HR Assistant and Senior Assistant to co-ordinate trainee inductions.
Performance Development: Co-ordinate the performance review process which involves the communication of key deadlines to trainees, solicitor apprentices and trainers, monitoring completion of performance reviews and analysing performance rating allocations across the trainee population.
Seat Plan: Manage the Early Careers London seat plan (which includes trainees and solicitor apprentices).
Manage and support on Employee Relations cases: Matters relating to, for example, ill-health, personal issues, wellbeing, absence or performance management.
For those at the firm, or those joining in the future alongside other Early Careers Development team members.
Act as main point of contact for solicitor apprentices.

Proven HR experience in a partnership environment, ideally within the legal sector.
Experience of working with a graduate/trainee population is desirable.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships at all levels.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
